“We booked a "Christmas Lights Tour" for a few days before Christmas, but the weather (specifically wind and cold) forced them to reschedule for the day after Christmas. Great move, as there were still plenty of lights up. Eli was a fantastic pilot and very personable. The helicopter was much more stable, quiet and warm than I was expecting. No fear whatsoever! We flew up to 115 miles an hour to get to the good stuff; Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mtn Zoo, Seven Falls, and even OUR OWN HOUSE! Highly recommended and well worth it! Maybe we'll try the Royal Gorge next time!”

“I was looking for a computer for my nephew for his birthday, it was last minute cause my initial plan fell through. Theresa in electronics was amazing. She was patient and polite and very helpful. She looked through all her cabinets several different times, for several different items. We finally found something online that said it was in stock. It was for a sale though. She said they might not be available because it was in the back in a special place for Black Friday. But she didn’t give up. She found a supervisor and asked them. He said the same and then pleaded with him to please go check for us. He found one. She saved the day and helped make a little boy very happy on his birthday. I want to thank her very much.”

“Barbara and Mark are amazing and their beautiful property was just what we needed to get away from the technology and just be surrounded by nature. The suite we stayed in is lovely, clean, and welcoming. The river running next to the suite is so relaxing. We shared a couple of glasses of wine(their treat) once we arrived and had a wonderful conversation. In the morning Barbara made us a delicious breakfast and Mark delivered our breakfast to our door in a beautiful basket. I called it the breakfast goodie basket. Later on that morning we also shared some Mimosas (our treat) while we walked around their property. Barbara has beautiful note cards and small mementos that she has available for purchase. I love note cards so I had to get a pack for my collection. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing and excited to return for another stay this summer, then we can see all the beautiful trees and plants flourishing. Grateful to have found this lovely space!”

“In Florence you got three options for fuel; East end Shell - a good option, West end Shell - a very limited option, and then there's the Loaf N' Jug - another good option right in the middle. It is right next to the only Carls Jr. in Fremont County - a not-distinguished honor but a landmark none the less. This gas station is mostly run by a man named Art - just about the nicest guy in Fremont County. Art runs a tight ship - the place is always clean and picked up. The pumps don't look like they've survived the Apocalypse, the floors inside are clean and the cashiers seem pretty astute - very fast. If you are going to be looking at Motorcycles at Fremont Motor Sports next door and need a libation this place is convenient to you. They have diesel at this gas station too so that is another reason to stop. Only 66% of the gas stations in Florence have diesel - scientific fact.”

All were doing well but this guy stood out. Workin' hard and having fun. Best pizza I've had in a while. Tried Marinara in place of the regular sauce. Try it. It was good.”
