  I love Roots Medicine. Nothing has ever helped me before and I was feeling like nothing ever would. And then I started seeing Marisa. Now our appointments are the highlight of my week!

  Recent test results have shown that I have serious deterioration in four disks in my neck. I came to Marissa with severe neck, shoulder, and arm pain. Her treatments have virtually removed that pain so that I have been able to function normally. I may have to undergo surgery for the condition, but I know Marissa's treatments will make the healing process go much more smoothly. As a side effect, I have also enjoyed a great boost in energy and general sense of well being. Thank you, Marissa, for your gentle insightful healing at this time in my life.

  Marisa is an amazing healer. I had a neck issue that was causing extreme arm pain and numbness. In only a month my neck pain was 75 percent gone and after two months it was completely gone and has not returned. The office always has a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. I highly recommend Roots Medicine.

  I enjoy every minute I am on the acupuncture table at Roots Medicine! Like many who are reading this review, I have suffered seasonal allergies for most of my adult life. Not anymore. Once I began working with Marisa, my allergies disappeared. I no longer depend on over the counter medicines that make me feel weird. I also suffer from persistent sports injuries from snowboarding and Marisa has delivered through acupuncture and herbal remedies. I look forward to my weekly visits!

  I really enjoyed my first acupuncture experience! I admit, I psyched myself out as soon as I saw the needles come out of their packaging, but the stick was hardly even noticeable. I recognized that I was not being mindful, so I took a deep breath and allowed myself to sink into relaxation. There was a soft snow starting to fall and the sun was setting in the large picture windows behind me. Relaxing music was playing in the background, and I looked around at all the beautiful office plants. The environment and ambiance were absolutely perfect and the key to me allowing myself to let go, and relax. I really enjoyed the company of the other people present with me, and Marisa’s guiding energy. She conveys a precision but also a softness. She was very knowledgeable about both the ancient history of acupuncture and its many uses for all kinds of ailments. I felt so relaxed, I wished I could have stayed there all evening. I had another evening obligation, and when I left the Acupuncture Happy Hour, I was relaxed yet energized, and my energy felt centered as opposed to chaotic. I would definitely recommend even just getting your toes wet with this happy hour. Don’t let a “fear of needles” keep you from this enlightening experience!
