I found Four Horsman from a google search looking for a place to lift close to my house, started working out 3 days a week about 7 months ago and can honestly say I've never been happier with my workout routine and the results I've seen. Great Facility and specific training for all levels. I've always felt I had one part of my fitness missing with other programs. Here you will get one hell of a workout in every session, sound advice on food/ nutrition and a great atmosphere and community. Worth every penny.
If you’re looking for a low key gym with a great trainer who’s focused on your goals, Four Horsmen is the spot. Matt has created an awesome atmosphere with fun and challenging workouts to keep you motivated. He combines strength, balance, mobility and cardio into all of his workouts so no matter what level you’re starting at you’ll be making progress. I highly recommend this gym.
Working out with Matt is an all-around awesome experience. He starts by understanding your fitness goals and your history about working out/injuries. If there is any pain, he goes through stretches and modifies the movement so there is less pressure on the injured part.
Matt has made sure that the atmosphere at the gym is so welcoming and upbeat. Clients are working hard, while also having fun and not going broke. He is very accommodating to your schedule and responds quickly if you need to get a hold of him.
I am currently pregnant and he has differentiated my workouts to accommodate my ability at this stage while also checking in making sure all is good!
I couldn't imagine working out with a different trainer nor at a different gym!
I’ve been working out with Matt at Four Horsman Fitness for a year and a half and it’s the best thing I’ve done for myself. Matt is very knowledgeable in both fitness and nutrition. He has helped with me meal planning and every workout is something new. The gym is such a fun environment and everyone is great. I love that it is small groups and it’s not a big box feel. Hands down would recommend Matt for all your health and fitness needs.
Coach Matt did an 8 week fitness challenge. For my goal I picked run a 5k. At this point I was not doing any exercise. By the end of the 8 weeks I was running 5ks and even signed up for my first 5k race this year. Matt was an excellent coach and we did this all virtually. He can still over coaching for out of town clients. If you are just getting started on your fitness journey Matt is a great trainer!
