Having never experienced couples counseling before, I was quite nervous that my husband or I would not be understood by the counselor - within MINUTES Melissa dispelled all my fears. Not only was she incredibly encouraging from the beginning, but her positivity, experience, clarity, and understanding left my husband I feeling such unity and hope! She was instantly able to identify a key difference that we had not seen in our upbringing that was contributing to our issues. I have experienced such relief in now being able to recognize the source of our problem and by being equipped with new tools to respond to each other moving forward!
