  I contacted Steven at Golden Lock and Key about rekeying our doors. He was very professional and friendly on the phone, and gave a precise figure for what the rekeying would cost (which was very reasonable), and scheduled a visit the following morning. We ended up having to cancel our appointment with him, but will definitely be calling him the next time we need service.

  Fast, friendly service! Locked my keys in the car and without hesitation, Stephen arrived at the proposed time and I had my keys in hand with no hassle! If you want an honest and knowledgeable locksmith, I highly recommend Golden Lock and Key.

  I meant to write this review a month ago and life got busy, but I literally had a reminder to myself daily about how I needed to write this review. Steven was hands down the most honest locksmith I have ever dealt with. I stupidly locked myself out of my car with the spare inside. Long story. It was a hot day and I was in parking lot with no options but to call and get help from a professional. My husband was out of town and I was driving his truck. In the past when I’ve made this inconvenient mistake I have always fixed it myself with the old metal hangar and a screw driver. Well the last time that I had to result to those drastic measure I was 20 years old and that was a decade ago lol. I don’t think my husband would very much have liked me trying that old school trick on his 2018 truck, plus at 5’3 I’m not exactly tall enough to even attempt it. I called several locksmiths I found on google and I kept getting quotes that were insanely high. $120 and up! I also noticed when I called around I kept getting the same operator. I found it really scammy that I was calling all different companies, yet the same rude woman was answering the phone. On top of that I couldn’t get an honest or upfront price. They kept lying and saying that to get into a Tacoma would be very difficult and blah blah blah.
  
  By the grace of god I listened to my gut instinct and I decided to try one last locksmith. Low and behold it was Steven. Let me tell you, what a relief that was. He was to the point, he gave me a firm price without hesitation and made sure to get to me as quickly as he could. When he arrived he was able to get into the truck within minutes. I asked him for a few of his cards and have passed them all out already. I have to say that Steven is a stand up guy and he is nothing like those scam locksmith companies. I hope I never lock myself out again, but if I do I will gladly be calling Steven.

  Called Stephen late morning on a Friday with a somewhat urgent request to have our office door rekeyed. Stephen squeezed us in between appointments. He showed up within the proposed time and was super quick with our door. He was personable and very friendly. His prices were fair and reasonable. Definitely call Stephen and Golden Lock for ALL your lock and key needs.

  I had unfortunately locked my keys in an interior room at our home. I called Golden Lock and Key and spoke to Stephen. He was friendly and willing to come help me within the hour. This was my first experience using his service and would definitely call him again. He was efficient and charged a fair price for his time. Thanks for helping me out!
