Beware of this business as they talk a big talk but fail to deliver timely and do not stand by their shoddy work. I spent a lot of money on extensive repairs and when I went to pick up the car, I was told that all sorts of indicator lights would be going off. While I thought this was odd, I trusted them. Unfortunately, I soon learned that I had an oil leak which was not present when I dropped the car off. I had to put more oil in the car as the light was going off and when I performed the dip stick test the dip stick was completely dry. Mayriver voided my warranty for doing this.

I then took my car to a trustworthy mechanic who stated that the workmanship was amateur and that indicator lights should not be going off if a car is properly repaired. The serpentine belt tensioner was not properly installed by Mayriver and it broke while I was driving. I had to get both that and the belt replaced.

Chris, the owner, saved the DAY!!! Hubby and I were headed back home after a week of ATV riding when we had a a flat on our ATV trailer, with no jack and a severely corroded spare tire. Not only did Chris change the flat but he had to do a little welding back at his shop! Start to finish we lost about 1 hour of travel time. Chris was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about exactly what had to be done to get us back on the road. THANK YOU Chris!! We are recommending you to everyone we know!!!

My wife and I were stranded when our trailer tire blew and our rental had no tire iron or jack. We called MayRiver and Chris was at our location within 10 minutes.This guy hustled, knew what he was doing and had us back on the road in less than an hour. I travel Hwy 24 a lot and will keep his contact info handy.

I don't leave very many reviews but everyone at May River are absolutely amazing!
I have had them work on several vehicles and I can't say anything negative about the professional, friendly and willingness to go above and beyond any mechanic shop. If you are looking for an honest quality service and definitely reasonable priced auto shop look no further!!!
I'm truly grateful for everything they have done, this is my shop for the rest of my life!

Excellent shop. These guys do excellent work at a fair price. It's refreshing to get a 'your vehicle is ready' call exactly when they say they will call. After years of trying shops around the area I finally found a shop that worthy of my time and money. No extras, no frills, just an honest diagnosis and honest work. Thank you, May River!

*Edited-10/4/21- I don't think I could ever have enough good things to say about these guys! They have been so wonderful with helping me keep my truck on the road. They are honest, quick, good at their trade, and the biggest thing.... HONEST! Being a woman always leaves me at the mercy of trusting what a mechanic says and these guys have never made me second guess what they tell me. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop to anyone that needs a vehicle serviced. So very thankful for finding this shop and the amazing employees that work there.

Beyond amazing group of guys! I locked my keys in my truck and I tried every other shop I could think of and a random stranger recommended these guys. They came out to me immediately and popped the locks really fast.... At no charge. I think I found my absolute favorite mechanics shop to go to as long as I live out in the area.
