Out of the Blue

We go in the evenings when it is after hours. Great place and fun relaxing vibe. Hit an miss with service. Sometimes it's great and other times not so much.

Blue mug was ok today. Server was great, acknowledged the fact that everything took forever and discounted our bill without us even having to say anything.

This establishment is a great place to spend a meal with family. Alongside a wonderful staff, the portions were hearty and so was the overall food choices. The food was prepared quickly but with an obvious amount of care. Coffee was prepared in a masterful way, creamy and subtle in flavor. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, who was kind and very friendly. The overall service and environment is one of the reasons I love going to smaller local restaurants.

I had a nice surprise today.
I went to get coffee at Out Of The Blue. It has breakfast so I got the Pacific Salmon breakfast not the Benedict. While I was ordering she kept saying "the chef" and I just thought it was a cook she was referring to but after eating, I firmly believe Chef is the right word. It was the best Salmon I have had in a restaurant for a while. The coffee is amazing too. I had 2 cups.
This place is a bar at night and has a laid back ambiance.

We absolutely love this place. Sometimes my husband and I are able to escape for a breakfast date and when we do it’s such a treat. We also sometimes have a whole family date with our 5 kids. The staff is so great with the kids and we never feel like they are bothered by the extra mess. It’s so wonderful to go somewhere that has kid friendly dishes while also having really dynamically flavored dishes that my husband and I prefer. My absolute favorite dish is the Chef’s Salmon and my husband is partial to the breakfast burrito.
