We started going here when we moved to Severance because we heard good things and it was so close to our new home. We absolutely LOVE this vet! Julie is so great with our little dogs, who have been treated roughly by other vets. We had an emergency visit yesterday after one of our dogs had a severe reaction to a vaccine, went into anaphylactic shock, and almost died (I won't go into details). When we rushed her to the vet (luckily was very close) they scooped her right up and brought her back to the vet. They took immediate action to get her set up on an IV and probably saved her life. A most traumatic day for us, but it was so great to know that we are in good hands with Platte Valley Vet.
Our experiences here have been so good, although they have fairly few. The doctor listens to us when we have concerns about our dogs and she is kind with us and our dogs. It is obvious that they care about their patients here. The prices have always been reasonable and it doesn't seem they are interested in gouging animal owners on what can be very expensive costs, especially in crisis situations. Thank you Platte Valley Vet! We hope to keep coming here for many years!!

Great experience. The doctor and staff were very knowledgeable. I got an appointment quickly. I feel they went above and beyond to care for my cat, and plan to have them care for my dogs as well. Highly recommend.
Dr Kidd is probably the nicest, kindest Vet I have ever known.
Her compassion for the animals comes through.
She has come in to the office early to accommodate us and at times stayed late.
Her staff is equally as kind and accommodating.
I would highly recommend Dr. Kidd to any family with a loving pet. Her pricing is more than fair and for her it’s not about the money. It’s the love for the animals.
We have been going to her for over two years. Moved farther away but still drive the 40 min to visit. It’s well worth it!!
