“Great coffee shop I found in this small town of Mead, CO! It is about a mile in -- once you get off I-25 (Mead Exit). The staff is super friendly and attentive. The service was fast as well! The atmosphere in the coffee shop is artsy and relaxing. Honestly, I found the coffee here to be smooth, delicious, and best of all, very reasonably priced and affordable (compared to the national coffee chains)!! Noting a few exceptional people here (they are all excellent BTW): Ames and Trudy. This is Ziggi's Head-Quarters building. The only qualm I have with this location is the limited parking slots available. I ended up parking my car in the dirt lot across the street. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this establishment!”

“A good local spot. Really friendly staff, the food is served fast and hot. Looks like they have a lot of veggie options, though nothing to replace the pork items. The menu overall seems a little heavy and I wanted to go light, so I ordered the 2+2+2. The pancakes are really delicious, though the eggs were a little too well done. I had hoped the diner would be a couple bucks cheaper, seemed like the average price for a meal was around $11-$12, which is high for my diner taste but it seems to not be a problem to the locals. The place was really busy with lots of happy people going in and out. I also got my own carafe of coffee, which was a pleasant surprise.”

Beef broccoli was ok, meat was tender lightly sauced with an ok taste, large broccoli pieces looked fresh but had an oily taste. Wontons are light on filling and kind of sweet. Wontons are 4 for $2.50. Sesame chicken is good, lightly sauced, light on the breading, chicken cooked correctly, sauce is good. Egg drop soup is okay, a little salty. Place is good because they are open late and open when other places are closed. But the food is better at nearby competitors.”

“Not only does Spruce Confections have yummy food (burritos, sweet confections) and delicious drinks (coffee, juices, etc.); every Sunday from 9:30-11:30 there is joyful music in the sweet courtyard on the side. A great band—string instruments and singing—has been playing for the last 15 years (and who I just recently discovered). Old time jazz and tunes that make your feet tap and your head nod. “Don't be swayed by the sign on the door saying they have the right to refuse service to anyone. Initially, it made me feel unwelcomed. I paused but decided to try anyway. Before I could get inside good, I was greeted warmly. I got to taste the ginger snaps which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They are the perfect chewy with a lil "snap" on the edge. You can taste the ginger but it doesn't punch you in the face. They are yummy!! Burritos are grilled. A lil crispy on the outside and delicious in the middle. The green chile is actually good and I don't really like it usually. My peppermint mocha coffee was delightful and on my way out it felt like Cheers. Everyone in line made friends and the vibe was nice!”

Martin regularly gets new items, whether unique variants or older comics, pretty frequently to keep the inventory fresh for both new collectors and those hunting back issues. This is also a great spot to bring in comics and toys for them to potentially purchase from you. The layout and organization is among the absolute best in the area and Martin is very knowledgeable to help you find what you are looking for if you have any questions. Into regular, weekly comic releases? Get yourself a pullbox and never miss any issues that you might want - with a discount on top of that for having a pullbox! They also put on a weekly livestream for some unique comics and new inventory. It's worth checking out. I find the prices to be very fair and, in many respects, some may be under market value. Laura's coffee are is also pretty cool and both the smoothies and coffee are great. Highly recommend a visit to anyone in town looking for comics and collectibles.”

“Everything was top notch. We ordered the cheddar biscuits and chorizo gravy and the lox bagel. I asked to substitute the eggs for bacon and they happily obliged. I even saw -$1.50 for eggs on the screen so that’s cool that they only make you pay for what you’re getting. I asked for the potatoes extra crispy and they came out perfect. Our drinks were their daily special, a honey lavender latte. We were both very impressed. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and we only waited about 10 minutes to receive our food. We will definitely be back.”

It's reasonably nice inside but it's a coffee shop that doesn't smell like coffee or have any visible soul to it. I didnt see any breakfast food items listed on the menu but since this location just opened maybe they're still figuring that out. I gave them a 1 star bump just to support the neighborhood.”

“I had given up on Starbucks until I started getting my coffee here. About a year ago caramel macchiatos started tasting bland, I think it was the caramel they started using. Then I started getting other drinks like white mochas, salted caramel mochas, or frappecinos but it was always hit or miss, and when they were 'good' they were still just okay. This place never fails me. Anything I get is amazing, full of flavor and you can actually taste the coffee. I actually like the caramel macchiatos there too. The staff is always great and it is convenient so going there is a no brainer for me. I wish all Starbucks served their coffee like this place.”
