Lake Kenosia Park

Great place for a picnic or to take the kids and look at the great scenery when the weather is great just a wonderful experience. If your in the the area you definitely have to come out.

A relatively modern and clean park and playground next to Lake Kenosia. It contains several ball fields as well as a playground. At one point in time you could swim in the lake, but high levels of bacteria in the water eventually made this dangerous. Instead of a beach, the park has a small nature park with local plants growing near the water. In lieu of a swimming area, the park has a small spray park. While the park is relatively flat, there is no specific path for wheelchairs. The playground itself isn't accessible either, but is new and in good condition. There are only port-o-potties in each area of the park.

Great park good fishing

I usually take my break here just to get away from my desk. Usually not busy, pleasant view of the property and water. Plenty of space for kids to play in the playground and a couple of fields to play sports and things for everyone else.

Large municipal park with a small lake. The park has many assorted playing fields and a good play ground. It's also got an interesting history.
