If I need to go to Manhattan and not wishing to drive, this is my station of choice. I arrive after 9 am, buy a ticket from the machine, and I'm on my way. Because of my infrequent usage I have no permit so I find a fee ticket on my windshield when I return in the evening. I pay the $6 online with PayPal. Except for the long hike to the station it works for me.
