I've been through two surgeries and convalesced both times here. Very professional.
The outpatient rehab, though , is REALLY EXCELLENT. An exceptional facility for outpatient physical therapy, better than any I have tried in the area, by far. Most PT places don't have the same level of staff training and competence, and other places tend to leave you sitting around waiting for them to finish with their other patients. Here you get one-on-one the whole time. Plus, they MEASURE results. I Highly recommend.
Above average for acute care, average for chronic long term care
I was referred to the Carlton by my doctor who had gone to the Carlton for her rehabilitation. Although my surgical recovery was very painful, the facility staff were the best people I had ever met. I was so comfortable and secure while I was there for 10 days. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who asked how I had been treated during my stay. I had to confess that he had very professional and pleasant staff who always had a smile on their face. The food was the best. Someone had decided that I needed a small snack every evening. (I think it was the woman who supervised the kitchen) I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to her about my meals that were always good. Even the coffee was good. I could go on talking about the staff from maintenance, the aides, nurses and office staff. I even had my hair shampoo ed at the salon on site. Even physical therapy was a pleasant experience because of the people who worked there. In closing, the building and grounds were well maintained and very clean. They had a summer cook out for patients, families and staff. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The Carolton is a melting box of cultural diversity in its staff overall. The many ladies that took care of me felt like friends. The Carolton is a very nice facility because of the staff that work there and the owner who has a big voice, a bigger smile and nice hair, lol.
Carolton is the most wonderful rehabilitation facility! My father needed both in patient and out patient PT and OT there and the staff over delivered! From the nurses who cared for him for the 2 weeks he was there, the PT and OT therapists, the nurses and staff were all incredible. The Carolton is the ONLY place to go to if you need any kind of rehabilitation. The literally got my Dad back on his feet with kindness, smarts and compassion. Specifically Bri Hudak is the BEST PT therapist-- she cares deeply and is a total pro. I can't say enough good things about the Carolton!
