Dr Stroumbakis found very early stage bladder cancer, successfully removed and follows me 2-3 X a year. Grateful for his eagle eye, incredible training and reassurance. Dedicated and confident, huge Mets fan.

An odd urine test led to a CT scan revealing a tumor-completely unexpected because I'm normally ridiculously healthy. That doctor called Dr. Stroumbakis, who cleared a slot to see me the next day. At that visit he said he needed to do a quick procedure to verify and said we could schedule in hospital or do in office right then. We did it at the office. (Great nursing staff btw). He said it needed to come out and he'd clear a spot asap. He did and removed it 4 days later. He isn't a warm, fuzzy type but is very concise, clear, and focused. That is exactly what I needed and wanted. He called personally twice afterwards to check on me. I couldn't have been more impressed with the willingness to move patients around by prioritizing medical needs. I know it isn't great to be the person who has their appointment switched or pushed back 20 minutes, but I certainly appreciated the speed with which he and his staff moved. I will continue with him for care and recommend him highly.

Dr. Stroumbakis is an intelligent and caring doctor with a staff that has gone above and beyond. He literally had another doctor complete a surgery to come and see me during a medical emergency in 2007. His staff understood the significance of my symptoms, relayed them to him, and he reacted in rapid fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to refer family or friends to him.

I disagree with previous reviews; I have been under his care for more than 5 years; Dr Stroumbakis is great.. he takes his time with you, he is very professional and knowledgeable on how to help you.. his staff is also very polite and efficient and they are always there to help.
