“This is traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate descended from the Okinawan forms. Class sizes are small and instruction is individualized. Unlike some McDojos out that award belts like boy scout medals, you have to earn your rank and are expected to work hard. Classes are inexpensive. While the current skew is towards adults, children are welcome and both of my kids trained here, side by side with their father. Family friendly too. It's not glitzy, but it is real karate and worth every minute.”
