(September 10, 2018, 1:34 pm)Grew up in Redding and still find it is a great place to go with kids. They upgraded the playground (which is completely shaded) and have canoes, kayaks and paddle boats you can go out on. Trails around lake are nice too.
(August 12, 2018, 9:08 am)A little rustic but fun. Great walking trails. Not hard to find if you know your way around Redding or you have GPS. Topstone Road is gravel and sometimes a little rough.
(July 27, 2018, 8:13 am)Best place in town to cool off on a hot summer day. Staff is great and I feel more than comfortable bringing my 4 year-old there.

(May 28, 2018, 1:49 pm)My first time here but it's somewhat nice. They have basketball courts boat rentals picnic areas and they are dog friendly so that's a plus. They have a playground for kids

A great place to swim in the summer, along with picnicking, hiking and nature study. The beautiful 280 acre facility offers a great sand beach and guarded swimming area, as well as fun watercraft (kayaks, paddleboats, canoes for your enjoyment free of charge with admission to the park).
