The Stamford Hotel

We stayed here for one night while heading to Salem, MA. I highly recommend it! The room was black light clean! Yes, I took one and checked around! 😂 It was very clean! The bed and pillows were so comfy! Best nights’ sleep we had our entire trip (1 week). Stay here if you get the chance!

I recently visited The Stamford Hotel, that's walking distance to my home for dinner and drinks with a friend. I opted for the strip steak, priced at $36.00, which was exquisitely prepared and exceptionally delicious. I chose sweet potato fries as an alternative to the regular fries, and it proved to be an excellent choice. The staff were friendly, well-informed about wine, and provided impeccable pairing recommendations. I definitely will be back and bringing friends! The restaurant/bar is located in the main lobby.

I recently stayed overnight at the Stamford Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and featured a big, comfy bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The hotel also boasts excellent gym facilities with plenty of options to get a good workout in, which I greatly appreciated. The equipment was well-maintained and varied, catering to different fitness needs. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and pleasant. Overall, the Stamford Hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation.

It's a nice looking hotel from the outside, the lobby is nice and they have a pool and fitness center. The rooms weren't in great shape. Looked dated to be honest. Holes in the wallpaper, dust everywhere, and the toilet would flush and then take forever to cut off. No laundry area so if you need clean clothes, you have to go elsewhere. Rooms are cleaned only by request the day before. Had to ask for new towels every few days. There is a little store type deal in the lobby, it's okay but could use some more variety. Pay attention to the prices of the rooms, as they change daily. The bar/restaurant in the lobby is good, but its not cheap. Breakfast is not included, so it's a separate charge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Honestly, it's not a bad place to stay, you just really have to prepare every aspect of your trip. Parking is 20 a night, and you get a little card to scan going in and out, keep track of it. If the rooms were updated and a lau dry area was on site, it would be a lot more convenient in my opinion. Overall, not a bad experience, but it definitely could have been better
