I had two other doctors give their recommendations for surgery, and ended up choosing Dr. Peden because he was the only one that suggested additional reinforcement of my ankle to help prevent arthritis and allow me to remain as active as possible. I am 39 with three young kids, he recognized that and thought about the long term. He also caught an additional foot injury that was missed by the two other ortho's that I had examine my injury.
