The key, though, is that they don't come in with a judgmental attitude. They treat like you a real person and are attentive to your needs. “Had a wonderful experience with a difficult procedure at Women's Health Associates in Southbury. PA Beth Harple and the nurse on duty at the time (who's name I believe was Sandy or Sandra? I feel terrible for forgetting because she was so wonderful) were so patient and understanding during a time I needed that the most. They took every measure to ensure my comfort and confidence, they were informative, and they were particularly accommodating when I was having difficulty. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff here as well as in the Danbury office. I live over an hour away from their locations now, but plan to never switch from this practice to a closer one. They are worth it and will take care of you, especially when it's challenging to. This is a practice you can trust!”

“Dr. Steven Kardos provided excellent medical service. He was informative and interested in me and taking care of a kidney stone before leaving on vacation. I saw him in the late afternoon on August 16th. After discussing my situation and timing issues he reviewed my medical records and x-rays (from a prior Urologist) directly with me in his office. Dr. Kardos took control and with the assistance of the staff of Northeast Medical Group Urology, he obtained authorization from my insurance carrier and arranged for medical treatment the morning of August 17th at the Yale New Haven Park Ave facility. The staff and Nurses at the facility were attentive and interested in my well being. I was scheduled for the procedure at 9:30 am. I arrived at 8:30 am. Dr. Kardos briefed me again on the procedure at about 9:00 am and the procedure commenced a little after 9:30 am. The care received was in stark contrast to my experience on August 11th. I would highly recommend Dr. Kardos and the Yale New Haven Park Ave facility.”
