I love everything about this park. Chesapeake city to Delaware City straight shot and no traffic to worry about

Decent trail. Paved path along the Canal. Kind of sketchy so best to go with a buddy. The construction fill and power lines are a bit detracting but the view of the water and bridge is nice. Loads of birds.

When this trail is finished it will be one of the best trails in the Med Atlantic States, It has one small gap of about a 1/4 of a mile and a new trail head just past the Summit Bridge is almost done.
