“This is a park I have known for 62 years. I have been back to it many times since my childhood. The wonderful thing now, is the restoration of an amusement park haunt. The old Lake, which had a dance hall in in the center of it, and boat rentals available for rowing, has been dug out and filled with water. Many other archaeological digs have taken place at the park and signage has been placed at specific areas of historical interest.”

“Bayberry Park is a very nice park. It has multiple play areas, one for younger kids, one for older kids, and even some places for adults - there is a bench swing for adults to use while watching their kids play. The age appropriate jungle gyms are fun and there is even a geometric rope gym that adults can climb on as well. The bike paths that run through and around the park have white dotted lines to create lanes for bike races, scooter races, skate boards, etc. I've seen a few kids hold races on those "tracks". There is a huge parking lot so when residents decide to go to the park for a day, they can bring along all of their friends.”
