Gelateria Dolce Vita

Great hidden spot in the city for cheap but tasty Gelato. I used to go here in between morning and evening job shifts while working in Georgetown. I was going in winter admittedly which is unusual, but they're open all year and it's tasty. I'd get strawberry cheesecake Gelato and relax while watching families skating on the rink from the balcony. Haven't been back to DC in years but it's one of my favorite memories from my time here.

Delicious treats, great for a nice cool treat on a warm day. Staff was nice and patient, and even gave us an extra little tasting spoon so our little one could try some as well. The line had a few people in it but the staff were quick to serve and keep things moving.

Flavors were delicious, I enjoyed the espresso and cookies and creme and my wife had almond and pink grapefruit, all of which were enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend if you're out for a stroll on the waterfront!
