Assumption Roman Catholic Church

What a delight! It's a small church with a small congregation with heart. The choir made up of 3 or 4 women really get you into singing. If I lived close this would definitely be a place I would like to be.thank you!

Has a mass set up for English and Spanish-speaking is the air conditioned and heat nice seating great atmosphere welcoming historical landmark family friendly on street parking. Also all street parking in the parking lot safe environment. Nice for family also great tour attraction. Also has an overflow Room in the basement in case of overcrowding upstairs and has a choir with a piano player singers with nice voices. I will definitely return and invite others to come.

Cannot tell you what a wonderful church and parish this is. The previous Pastor allowed a small Orthodox mission to use his rectory Chapple for years until we were able to secure our own property. It is the Mission Parrish of St. John the Merciful. 3934 2nd St SW, Washington, DC 20032

My family and I have attended this parish over 20 years,and the congregation is a closed community, everyone is friendly involved. The priest ssf t is always involved with his parishioners

Excellent Catholic Church. I grew up in this Church. Brought back alot of memories being there. A must to visit. Put this Church on your list of Churches to visit in the near future.
