From outside u can only see the memorial building with Jefferson statue in it, but they actually do have a lift to bring you down to the underground area for a small book and gift shop, another room for its history and statue. Good to pay a visit if u around national mall area.”

Korean War Memorial

“This memorial is hauntingly beautiful. It's one of the more underrated memorials in DC. It fights for attention between the World War II Monument and the Lincoln Monument. The faces of the soldiers and the incorporation of the foliage into the overall piece makes it feel very dynamic.”
