“Visiting the Buddha Room provided a serene and calming experience which alone is worth the visit. For those who appreciate ancient sculptures (dating back to 2000+ BCE), there are abundant beautiful pieces to admire. The whole place exudes a wonderful and positive energy.”

“I loved Daniel's story that helps kids understand what it felt like to go through the Holocaust. The building was clean and well set up. The architecture of all parts were well thought out. We were impressed with the size and amount of information available. We visited on a holiday weekend, so it was very crowded.”

“This place is very unique for me. From outside u can only see the memorial building with Jefferson statue in it, but they actually do have a lift to bring you down to the underground area for a small book and gift shop, another room for its history and statue. Good to pay a visit if u around national mall area.”

“This memorial is hauntingly beautiful. It's one of the more underrated memorials in DC. It fights for attention between the World War II Monument and the Lincoln Monument. The faces of the soldiers and the incorporation of the foliage into the overall piece makes it feel very dynamic.”
