Very quiet and tranquil in the winter.
This quaint little park sits just south of the DC Wharf and is a nice, well-maintained place to sit and relax in the shade, or to run through on your way to somewhere else. The Titanic Memorial is at its south end, and the scenery is nice, with views of Potomac Park and the DC skyline. Because there is a Metro PD boat station adjacent to the park, it seems to be pretty safe and quiet.
Bustling and intense, great mix of high end formal and casual eating and mingling! Hotels add serious flair.
A fresh side of DC compared to the Georgetown waterfront!
If you want a close to empty park, go here. Unlike other popular nearby parks, this one is more secluded. It houses the Titanic Memorial, a small concrete park (that sounds worse than it is) and the boardwalk. It’s a great layover while on a run!
