“Small selection isn't a problem here. Went for breakfast sandwiches a few times, and they are very tasty and quick. Good coffee and a cozy nook to eat in, unless you sit on the patio if it is nice out. Also a great little grocery store with mostly local and natural foods. Good spot to pick up some local beers and wine.”

“As one of the few small grocers in the neighborhood, Menick's consistently delivers. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly and there is a good selection of perishable and non-perishable goods. They are almost always open (9am to 9pm). They even have some fresh fruit and vegetables and are receptive if you ask for them to consider stocking more items. They just renovated the interior of the store to have even more offerings. The prices are good too. For example, last weekend I was able to buy everything I needed for a backyard BBQ garden party including hot dogs, buns, chips, ice, juices, beer, and ice cream. They even gave me some free popsicle sticks to help me label where I planted the seeds in my garden. I recommend Menick's Market for any of your snacking or basic staple local grocery needs.”

“Given the high customer throughput of this fine establishment, you'd expect it to be way worse in terms of available inventory and orderliness/cleanliness. This is not due to mere coincidence, but the thankless efforts of a diligent, kind staff. Don't get me wrong, they'll quickly handle any of the craziness the street sends in their door. The difference is they'll just do it in an efficient, yet endearing manner that keeps me coming back. Also, whatever your late-night menu choice may be, the donuts are usually on point, especially the chocolate bars.”

“Nice care wash. Starting at $6. You have to go inside to pay for the wash, and that is not made clear until you are at the council where you think you'd pay. I bought the RainX, and am happy with it. Plan on buying a $8+ wash for the winter time. They include the undercarriage wash to remove salt from the bottom of your car. I don't buy Shell gas and didn't pay attention to the price.”
