Health First's Viera Hospital: Emergency Room

Unfortunately, has to come in last week with my mother who has been having a lot of issues lately. Wait time getting in was a little lengthy, but that is what it is. Once brought back, we had a great care team, especially our nurse Cassie. Her and the rest of the staff were very caring, efficient and attentive. This Made our visit as pleasurable as could be.

The greatest experience I have ever had in an ER. I went to the emergency room 11/22/23. I had a horribly painful kidney stone. It went from being a mild pain in the morning to excruciating pain by 11:00. My doctor suggested Health First in Viera. It was an amazing experience. Everyone was super concerned and helpful from the security guard at the front desk to the registration desk even the triage nurse was super thoughtful. He knew I was in a lot of pain and made the input go very quickly.
I was in a room talking to the doctor and receiving pain medication within 15 minutes of arriving. I had a CT scan and spoke to the doctor afterwards. He explained my diagnosis very well, wrote me a few prescriptions and the nurse brought them in, explained my discharge instructions, and I was on my way. I was only there for about an hour and a half. I cannot recommend this ER staff more highly!!!

I recently visited the emergency room at Viera Hospital due to symptoms of nausea, dizziness, and cold sweats. I was a bit apprehensive about visiting the ER, as I have had negative experiences in the past. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care and attention I received at Viera Hospital.

The staff who attended to me were exceptional. They were professional, courteous, and attentive to my needs. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I would like to give a special mention to Heather at the front desk, who was especially nice and welcoming.

Despite the reason for my visit, my experience was surprisingly pleasant. The facility was clean and comfortable, and the level of care I received was top-notch. I did not have to wait long to receive treatment, and the treatment I received was effective in addressing my symptoms. Overall, I highly recommend Viera Hospital's emergency room to anyone in need of urgent medical attention.
