  The clear-bottom kayak was amazing and Joe our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. He showed us many things from different wildlife to neat bioluminescent tricks you could do. Seeing fish skip water in rays like flash lightning was awesome too!! I highly recommend you go on this water excursion and experience a night cooler than any other. It looked like we were floating in stars! Do ask for Joe if you want an informed and really cool adventure.

  This was our fourth trip with “A day away”. We are from the UK and every trip with them has been the highlight of the holiday. These folk care about the environment into which they take you. No theme park can come close to one of these trips. We were so confident that the trip would be outstanding that we tipped before we started. Arguably the best experience available in Florida from a brilliant company. Don’t hesitate book today. Thanks for all the memories.

  Went to Mosquito Lagoon location last night. Fabulous tour. Guides (Alex, Alex, and Issac) were very friendly and provided a very safe and enjoyable time. Bio-luminescence was incredibly bright. The clear kayak really added to the experience. Worth the cost! Would do it again.

  Went out on the water on 7/28 and had such an amazing time. The water current wasn't too tough and we saw so many manatees and even 4 dolphins! The manatees were so kind and receptive, and we were lucky enough to catch one munch some leafs off of a tree with long hanging branches. Our guide was knowledgeable and attentive and did a great job helping us spot the manatees and dolphins. 10/10 would recommend for a great little get away to anyone!

  My boyfriend and I booked a clear kayak tour last minute with A Day Away while on a mini vacation this week and it was the most amazing, magical experience either of us have ever had. You simply have to see this wonder of nature yourself to truly understand how amazing it is. It literally felt like we were living in a scene from Avatar, and the guides made everything very simple and safe. I would 100% go again & recommend this to anyone and everyone!
