I haven't been to the church for sermons, it's too far to walk there and back. Today,I had to spend money I really didn't have on left to get a new debit card. I asked the driver to stop because I remembered they gave away bread. We both took some and a few other things. I'm eternal grateful. How wonderful this place is to help ppl.who don't have.
We visited this church while on vacation. So many people in this church were friendly and welcoming. The sermon was impactful and Biblically sound. We had a wonderful time and will return to visit on our next trip.
While I am not a member at this church, I have observed this body of believers LOVE their community. They have wonderful programs for children, outreach, and the poor & homeless with their food donations and walkup. They are making a difference for the kingdom with tangible actions. I have a great deal of respect for the time and commitment the pour into their community.
Pastor Steve is full of energy and you can see his love and joy for God when you listen to his sermons and his display of love and concern for people. Pastor Robert leads in music with superb talented musicians and band members. Most of all the church members are very friendly, loving, joyful and will make you feel relaxed and welcomed as I felt when I first went there. No one is overlooked. There are a variety of different ministries for everyone's needs such as support, recovery groups, teen's and children ministry groups. They are on various days and with different times and a buffet dinner is served every Wednesday night in the Fellowship Building. You will feel welcomed and cherished as I was when you come to visit Gracepoint Church and when you do I am sure you will come back as I have.
The pastor, Stephen Geiger is very easy to understand, no matter who you are, younger or not so younger 😀. He's very down to earth, very humble, & humorous as well. He makes us feel very welcome and loved (even though we have asked advice & he knows private details of our lives). He's not judgmental, just embraces us with very genuine love, equipping us with what we need to live our everyday life. Every Sunday we leave feeling closer to God as well. This is the first church I've ever been to(and I've been to a bunch) that I wrote things down that I want to remember and actually read them again. I used to set them aside, never to be seen again. Here though, I have pulled them out later that day or months later and wow!, the notes I took were just as helpful then as the day I wrote them down. Oh yeah, did I mention the other people there? They are so warm & friendly. I've just never encountered such genuine, warm-hearted people in a church. I could say so much more. What I think is even better, try Gracepoint Church for yourself. Whether you are searching for a new church OR just plain searching, OR if you have wondered about the meaning of life, your life and what's it all about? , give Gracepoint church a fair try. Come just as you are.
