Nicholas Tranakas, MD

Dr. Tranakas was my surgeon who removed ALL of my breast cancer. After 4 months of chemo, the 9cm mass tumor got smaller & he was able to remove all of it. He has a wonderful & professional bed side manor. I was very happy with him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Tranakas for many years and never thought of writing a review until now. His front office is very good, and especially Lychia who handles surgeries, approvals etc. She is excellent. I trust Dr. Tranakas with my life. He has lived up to his amazing reputation and i'm so glad Dr. Burton Danoff, my long time gyn, referred me to Dr. T.

Very compassionate Dr., medical and clerical staff. Scheduling was not a problem. The Dr. did a thorough review of my records prior to seeing me and then did his examination. After that he made recommendations that were understandable and appropriate. Very professional. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Dr. Tranakas is an EXCELLENT doctor. Very professional. Excellent follow-up. Very easy to talk, educates you as to "what" he's going to do during surgery, and takes the time to answer your questions. In regards to "waiting". I look at it this way: When you're a great doctor - like Dr. T - you're in demand and everybody (in the waiting room) wants to see Dr. T immediately. Also take into consideration his patients (the one's already in the rooms) could be experiencing (or receiving) terrible news. With that said, it doesn't mean that Dr. T is going to cut your time short. He is compassionate, understanding and up-to-date (medically/surgically speaking) and IF I need to see Dr. T again (which I hope I don't) I would do so with zero hesitation and refer others to do the same.
