The drink and food menu are alright, nothing too robust, but everything is made with care and the service is far above and beyond what you'll get at most beachfront restaurants nearby. The atmosphere here is what really seals the deal - it's hard to nail down but I was here for 3 days and after trying a few other spots, I found myself continuing to come back to Ocean Alley just for the atmosphere and location alone. Definitely worth stopping in once or twice if you're in the area.”

“The hotel is beautiful. The rooms were clean nicely appointed and felt modern. The staff were friendly and relatively helpful though I believe there was a slight language barrier between myself and the desk clerk. While the hotel is older it seemed neither antique nor run down but instead classic. It is a throwback to Golden days past. In the present the Sheldon sits right in the middle of a vibrant public beach and boardwalk. A few sandy barefoot steps to the left or right and you will find amazing open air dining, a public pavilion, concert stage, a delicious ice cream shop, beautiful women, and an even more beautiful beach. If you have young children I may suggest a slightly more family friendlyarea like Coco Beach or really I'd try the gulf coast. Navarre or Mary Esther are both beautiful and tame.”

“Right next to the ocean, this Gem of the broadwalk has a variety of options for all kinds of Taco lovers. I personally got the salmon Bowl (pictured), which ended up being very filling and very tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. I came here with my fiance while we were on vacation, and we would definitely come back. While we also love the Taco Spot which is right down the street, if you love tacos and you have the chance to eat at both places, give Taco Joint, a chance as well! The food is great!”

“A++!! The best beach hotel I've ever experienced. Super friendly staff, beautiful units---they seem to be recently remodeled and well maintained. I had a chance to meet the owner, and he is such a nice guy. He put my family in of four in his own vehicle, and arranged for us to stay a few blocks away, right next to the beach! ⛱️ Everything about the units feels homely. The decor, the cookware, the appliances, even just the spaces for showering and cleaning off. I couldn't say enough good about this place. We will definitely be coming back, and telling our family and friends ♥️♥️♥️♥️”

I was impressed with this hotel and sorry we only needed it for the night. Would definitely go back and stay again. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is very cool. This place is clean clean clean.
