I had a pre-Easter brunch for my family who were in from out of town. I ordered bagels, cream cheese, tuna, whitefish, etc and everything was AMAZING. There was a snafu with the UBER EATS app but one of the Brooklyn Bagel employees -Alyssa-handled it like a pro. She prevented a meltdown and took care of me with concern and professionalism. Alyssa made this a great experience. Thank you Alyssa🥰🥰🥰🥰
A bagel that didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Williamsburg and the Brooklyn. The salmon and onion was crisp and fresh, the egg was creamy and delicious on the Brooklyn. Not the best ever but you won’t be disappointed.
I am from New York and this is by far the best bagel I’ve had in Florida. I honestly haven’t even liked any bagel store yet in Florida until I came here. Check this place out! I will be returning for sure.
Long time local review:
Been coming here for years. The bagels are fresh and delicious, especially the Whole Wheat Everything. Still haven’t found another place with that. Cream cheese is good here too. Staff is friendly, though they got that SoFla/Brooklyn attitude, which makes it a little authentic but can be off-putting at times too.
A few pointers:
- whole wheat eveything, nuff said
- this new Carnegie deli pastrami egg sandwich is overrated. If you do try it, either replace the cheddar with Swiss or don’t get cheese at all.
- always go with the iced coffee. The frozen coffee ice cubes are a must.
- coffee probably isn’t as fresh later in the morning so come as early as you can for the fresher cup of Joe.
- disappointing they don’t offer non-pork options, especially when they’re located in a predominantly Orthodox Jewish area.
- Staff can be a little, well, unprofessional at times. I’ve noticed not the greatest hygienic practices so just be observant how they handle your food.
Overall, Brooklyn Water Bagel has been a great stop for me and my friends and family. They rarely disappoint and it’s been a very nostalgic spot to check out, especially when you get to watch them make the bagels fresh through the window. Enjoy!
Came here for the coffee stayed for the breakfast!
Been coming here for a while and the food is always on point. This time the place was more busier than my previous visits, but that was ok, as our food came out on time and hot.
The coolest thing about Brooklyn Water Bagel is their iced coffee, which unlike other cafes they freeze their coffee into cubes, that way your coffee tastes the same as time passes by and not watered down. The coffee was self served so there were many flavors to choose from. I had the dark roast with the bourbon pecan creamer, and it was sweet. Definitely a new favorite flavor.
For breakfast I had the asiago bagel with a cheese omelette made with tomatoes mushrooms and spinach, yummy in taste and healthy. Gf had an omelette too with some avocados and an everything bagel. She enjoyed her breakfast very much so.
If you’re looking to have a unique breakfast experience Brooklyn Water Bagel is the place to be!
