  I have been going to Value Specs for decades. I sat on one of my favorite pairs of glasses, ruining them beyond repair. I thought I would swing by and see if they had the frames I could buy and just switch out the lenses.
  
  Unbeknownst to me, ownership appears to have changed during the pandemic. It was a different store with different merchandise. The gentleman working (the optician?), named Wilson, could not have been more accommodating or generous with his time. Even though they didn't carry the brand of frames, he proceeded to go through cabinets, boxes and closets containing inventory from the previous owner.
  
  Lo and Behold, he came across one pair of the design I needed. He popped the lenses in, fitted the glasses to my face, and charged me for only the frames. Thank you, Wilson! You are a rare breed, these days. :)

  They always have great pricing and are very friendly, and a large selection of frames. I recommend anyone to got there for their optical needs.

  I have been going to this location for many years and was sad and surprised when I learned that long term owner, Jay sold his business. With that said, Marie (new owner) was a delight! She is kind, caring and a nice person. Her work ethic is strong and she went above and beyond to assist my needs to obtain new glasses/lens! I still recommend this local business for your eyeglass needs!

  i had a broken pair of glasses ,walked in in to be greeted by a big smile and a genuine concern for my problem from Marie. And even Wilson (working on glasses in the back),smiled over her shoulder . An hour later they were restored to good as new..Got them and I can highly recommend Value Specs to any and all.
