Love this park. Would have never found it if I wasn't doing an adventure lab challenge. I could come back here just to chill and read. Love it.
Love coming here to walk and clear my head. Always very peaceful, clean and beautiful
Arrived to late to walk the trail. No parking here. Parked at adjacent Royal Palm Park and walked to Stunson. (about 100 yards.) Looks beautiful. Will come back to walk the whole path. The walking path is gravel but smooth.
Another gem in Oakland Park ! This mid sized Nature trail has now taken root. The abundance and variation of the native flora and fauna have now established and has made this area come alive with wonder. It is uncanny how much time you can spend on this trail and still not see all it has to offer. One of the smartest decisions in the evolution planning of Oakland Park. This piece of land could have easily been purchased by developers and become another community of townhouses and codos, however, it has been developed instead as a place were the residents of Oakland Park can appreciate living space. Thank you to the Stunson family's contribution to the continued beautification of Oakland Park. Drop by, see, and enjoy !!! It's free !!
It's a wonderful small place with native plants, birds and butterflies. Circular in design with comfortable gravel to walk on. I would describe this as a cross between a botanical garden and a wild natural trail but on a small scale, Lovely!
