(March 20, 2019, 12:51 pm)I went for dinner at Mustard Seed Bistro for a table for 2 with no reservation and was able to be seated right away. The restaurant was busy on a Tuesday night, which to me is a good sign that the food is good and the business is doing well for themselves. The restaurant is located on the intersection of University Drive and Broward Blvd in an unassuming strip mall. The decor is dim and intimate. We had an excellent server and the food came out quickly. Dinner begins with some warm bread and a herb oil for dipping. The food was very tasty and we had a great time. I will definitely be returning in the future. Happy dining!

(March 8, 2019, 6:49 pm)One of the best kept secrets... sorta. It’s no secret the cupcakes are a sought out item. If you really want to have one get there early, suggestions are to call ahead and reserve. The meals are full of flavor and staff is charming especially the creator of each cupcake/muffin piece of heaven dessert.

(March 2, 2019, 6:52 pm)My friends treated me to a birthday lunch here. My first time visiting the bistro. The food was delicious. I got a white chocolate cupcake to go and it was so good. One friend tried the French onion soup and loved it. Another tried the short rib sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it.

(January 1, 2019, 11:37 am)People travel from far and wide to enjoy the top quality cuisine and service of Mustard Seed. Eleven of us enjoyed a New Year's Eve dinner, served masterfully by Jim. The signature cupcakes were already sold out by the time we arrived at 7 PM. Call ahead to reserve one for yourself next time. One of these days I will taste the cupcakes Mustard Seed is famous for.
There was plenty to enjoy. As long-time friends, we tasted each others' dishes. My wife and I shared a wonderful walnut blue cheese salad. Without even asking, the kitchen separated into two portions. We also sampled the mussels ordered by out friends - fantastic. Both my wife and I loved the Peruvian fish stew. I also tasted the delectable duck of my friend sitting next to me. Raves all around.
We'll be back, but we'll call ahead to reserve cupcakes. -

(December 17, 2018, 1:38 pm)Excellent food, excellent drink, fantastic staff/customer service and an excellent manager/owner running the show. Delicious Variety of Cupcakes made fresh daily. The cupcakes are highly requested and they are usually out of them by afternoon. If you're lucky enough to get one you are in for a treat. Cupcakes are heavenly...topped with rich frosting. Definitely worth many more visits in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here.
