After being home for almost a year due to my son getting sick and then COVID-19 pandemic starting, we decided to enroll him on October 2020. Being in the middle of a pandemic we had many concerns about his and our safety. CReative Child (CC) was the only daycare that met our expectations; temperature checks and screening in the morning, washing hands, teacher always wearing their masks, and sanitation of the classrooms. Since day one Mrs. Cecilia was very welcoming. My son was about to turn 2 when we did the tour and she encouraged us to wait until he turned 2 so that he would not have to change classrooms so soon. Her suggestion was definitely well received and made me love the fact she did not see us as a dollar sign; she genuinely cared about my son’s transition to school.
It took my son 2 weeks to adapt to the school and his new routine. He of course had a rough time but because he had been home with us for almost a year. Exactly around the 2 weeks he did not want to leave and said “no mommy car”. His teacher were AMAZING! Mrs. Julia and Mrs Meralys (until she left) and it was Mrs Fabina. My son would arrive home almost daily with some art work and the school often had activities/events for the children to participate in. We received a ton of pictures everyday while he was transitioning during those first 2 weeks because the cameras broke. The p toured continued after the two week and we were very happy to see how happy our son was during the day. He also learned soooo much.
Unfortunately we had to get him out of the school because I got a job offer at another city. We were extremely sad but we had no option. We are now adjusting to the new city and my son has not been able to adapt to a school. He has been in 2 different schools since we relocated and will be going to hopefully his third and last one. It has been soooo difficult to find a daycare like creative child in our new city. We are constantly comparing Creative Child with whatever new school we enroll him in. We have even considered to move back because of how hard it has been for him to adapt. I hope this new school is able to meet his and our expectations.
Thank you for the amazing memories and love you all gave my son, from Mrs Monica who always greeted us in mornings and afternoon, his lovely teachers Mrs Julia and Mrs Fabiana, and of course Mrs Cecilia and Mrs Elsy!
Xoxo,
The Lopez family ❤️❤️
This school is quite lovely. The staff is very nice and pleasant and when I did have an issue with something in the school it was rectified in the proper way. I love that they have so many activities for the kids including field trips. The curriculum is age appropriate but challenging enough that your kids are advanced going into Kindergarten.
I am so excited to have found Creative Child Learning Center Weston. The director Sarah and all the others in the front provide a warm welcome. My foster son in in the two year old class with Ms. Thais, Ms. Blanca, and Ms. Maria. They are kind, patient, and loving toward him and have helped him to grow in controlling his emotions and getting along with his friends. We are thankful to have found this place!
Both of my sons attended Creative Child. They are now 13 and 9 years old. They are both very successful in school and love learning. They were more than prepared for Kindergarten and have continued to excel over the years. I owe this to the dedication and love of the teachers from Creative Child. It is obvious that they love what they do and love the children equally! Now that my boys are grown, they are campers at Camp Explorer, Creative Child's summer camp program. They are excited to go to camp each and every day. The field trips that the camp plans for the children are fun, safe, and age appropriate. The counselors are all adults and have worked at the school since the boys were babies in the preschool. The administration has always been there to listen and help our family when needed. They have always made us feel like part of their family! I love this school and recommend it for all ages!
