Have two kids attending, we enjoy it very much.
We have been going here for 2years now and we love it!!!! It's a great school!!!!
Best school ever. My daughter is going to 3rd grade next year and we are moving. So sad we won't be able to stay at Country Isles due to the distance. Way too far from where we are moving to. This has been her 4th elementary school. This one was better than the others. I never had to directly interact with the principal because the teachers and staff do their job well.
My daughter has not had any bullies whatsoever this year (the other schools on the east side of south Florida there were constant bullies every day someone picked on her).
Her teacher has been a breath of fresh air. Mrs. Gomez - first grade teacher. She is always there for my daughter when she needs someone. She is always communicating with me. I agree with everything she's done with her class this year.
I loved the ability to be involved in the school. They let you walk in and visit. There's a lot of classroom events where you are welcome to come. Some schools don't let parents roam free on campus often.
I love this school. And we are sad to be leaving it.
Only one bad experience:
One of the events was a bit money crazy like their spaghetti night. My daughter and I did not really enjoy that much. People were buying 40-100 tickets to win the raffles and to compete with that was not in the budget. My daughter was severely crushed when she didn't win anything out of the 25+ prizes that were available. It was depressing. Parents that couldn't afford a bunch of tickets were consoling their children letting them know that they might not win and the children green with envy as they see a bunch of the children getting prizes. I have a suggestion - silent auction keep the same. Next time 15 baskets only and do more family games. I just think it'll be more fun for our children versus them watching a bunch of other kids win prizes and they leave with nothing. We came, we ate, we put our tickets in the raffles, and we waited for them to call numbers while the DJ played music. 3 games of bingo. Started at 6pm ended close to 10 pm. 4 hours of watching other kids win awesome prizes - devastating to my daughter. If i was staying at this school for next year we would not attend the annual spaghetti night.
My Granddaughter has attended this school for 6 years and her Teachers have all been wonderful and do a great job. My only complaint would be the Public School policies which you can't escape!
One of the best school nationwide.
