Just drove by on Hallowe'en, but have been here numerous times. The playground is fun. Now there are homes backing it up, so kids need to pay attention to cars. Still a quiet neighborhood retreat in Eagle Harbor.

Lick Skillet is very well maintained! Those workers make that place look like Disney World!!! Especially that red headed fella, he's a real go getter.

My son and I were looking for a place to take some pictures. I have Lupus and I can't walk really far. We looked up Lick Skillet and we only saw a few photos we decided to go see what it was like. It was a very beautiful place. You walk through the trees and over a little bridge that has water on both sides. We had to walk slowly and it was breathtaking we got to watch the sun go down. When you park you can see a clearing off to your left. After Walking through the clearing you turn to the left and then if you cross over the bridge. After crossing the bridge you turn to the left again you walk pretty much in a circle and the woods surrounding you are pure beauty. The walk is short and it was wonderful for someone like me.
