(May 23, 2019, 10:59 am)Took a high school class of 25 students. The class is still talking about it and it became an instant "every year" event. Both looking for and categorizing fossils was an amazing experience.
(April 3, 2018, 7:35 am)Had a great time here with my daughter and nephew! It was a bit long (for Kids) but very informative and interesting too. My nephew actually really enjoyed it and stayed on track, not bored at all the whole time asking and answering questions the whole time.
(March 9, 2018, 8:16 pm)Large assortment of Florida fossils and fossils from other locations. Small classes with personal attention. Arcadia and the Peace River is an excellent location for hunting fossils with your family. Classes geared for children, but Dr. Parker has a PhD in biology and paleontology.
