  Nice for a leisurely and quiet walk... or to hand by the water. Biking trails are small and more of a casual ride but at least they have them. Nothing strenuous here but don’t forget bug spray and permethrin for your shoes and clothes. Major tick location. If you have animals, treat them or make sure you do the tick search afterwards, guaranteed.

  Great place for a hike, picnic & some fishing. I appreciated that they have trash bags available for people to pack their trash out, although disappointed at the amount of entitled, disrespectful buttheads that just leave their trash laying around.
  
  Many of the trails provide shade during the heat of the day. Watch for wildlife, spiders and spider webs (at head height), bugs and ticks.
  
  Nice trails for dogs (although note tick comment above).
  
  Note Google directions are not quite right for the entrance here, the entrance is beyond the kayak launch to the left.
  
  Nice pier for fishing. More fishing off the blue trail.
  
  Toilets available. Shelter with picnic tables available. Handicap as accessible to fishing pier and shelter.

  Beautiful hidden away park with a small pier overlooking a marsh. Covered picnic area and well maintained. Natural style bathroom... you have been warned! ?

  The Blue Trail begins just beyond this area. This is the shortest of the three trails in the Preserve. It boasts a small dock for fishing in the creek/marsh. 
  
  All trails are blazed. In some places the Yellow Trail is marked by metallic reflectors in trees. In other places one can almost lose the trail completely. Because the perimeter of the preserve so closely hugs the marsh, several sections were almost completely flooded out. The Red Trail cuts across the Yellow Trail in several places acting as shortcut.
  
  Betz Tiger Point Preserve is located just to the north of Pumpkin Hill Preserve on the northeast side of Jacksonville, across Clapboard Creek from Black Hammock Island.
  
  There are several signs, a pavilion with picnic benches, trash cans, and a restroom nearby.
