Incredibly caring and lovely staff from nurses, to social workers and chaplains. A blessing beyond belief. Now in her final days, at this center which is so lovely and peaceful. We are so grateful.
My mother was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma on June 27th and passed away here on the 4th of September. It was truly a heartbreaking experience going through this with my mom and we will never be the same. We most certainly would have not been able to even function had it not been for the resources and compassionate care team provided to us. While it is true that my mother paid into Medicare funded hospice services - the genuine guidance that we received along the way & the resources provided to us were truly priceless. A very big THANK YOU to everyone that had a role in my mom's unfortunate journey. We will forever be grateful.
After a long, stressful journey, my 58 year old father ended up in hospice with early onset dementia. I couldn't have asked for more caring staff. They took amazing care of my father and kept him pain free and comfortable until he passed peacefully. Andrea and Emily made us feel at ease and kept us informed throughout the week my dad was there. The chaplain Larry was also incredibly kind and caring. Thank you so much for your incredible care.
My only complaint would be the old man who worked the front desk in the evenings. Nothing like being yelled at for forgetting to sign out when you're already trying not to cry. He was a bit rude for someone who has to deal with people with dying loved ones.
Complications from my Mom's terminal cancer finally overtook her while she was at Mayo and we are extremely thankful for this Community Hospice location close by! It's nestled in a beautiful and restful location and the staff are very professional and compassionate. Mom was kept out of pain and comfortable while she passed away and spending time with her and family here was a gift! There were also volunteers that brought in dogs to visit and it really gladdened our hearts to interact with them! On the morning my mother passed, there was a volunteer musician who played a classic harp and it was a truly beautiful end to her life to have this amazing music wafting into the room as we said our final good byes. Thank you Hospice 🙏🙏🙏
