I had a great experience today and just wanted to share my appreciation. I have had ulcerative colitis for 10 years and try my best to stay out of the ER. I am experiencing a bad flare and can’t get to the GI anytime soon and decided to come in. It took approx 10 min from the front desk registration to get to a bed, which is unheard of. Labs and IV placed quickly. I had positive interactions from the nursing staff, the medic who collected my labs and Radiology dept. All very sweet and all worked efficiently to get me what I needed. I was seen by Dr Kablawi. She kept me informed of the plan and my results as they became available. (Even with several emergency situations coming in while I was there) She was kind, personable and thorough. I’m grateful for such a great experience during such a sucky time. Thank you!
I brought my daughter on a Sunday (5/28/23) and the woman at check in, Melissa, was absolutely amazing. She was busy, but never short or rude with me. She spoke to my daughter in such a kind manner and made time to have a quick little conversation with us. When she gave my daughter her bracelet, she made a little bow with it. Little things like that make such a difference in the patient/customer experience. Most people barely make eye contact with you when you're checking in somewhere, they just run down the list of things to do and move on, but Melissa was so personable and just really great. Our actual nurse was not so great, she was a little rough with my daughter and didn't have a warm personality or bedside manner. All the stars are for Melissa, I hope she's recognized for her level of patient care.
