(June 5, 2018, 12:10 pm)This small but amazing church honors and supports the veteran's of our community every year around Veterans Day with an entire Sunday service dedicated to veterans and their families. It was a real blessing to see my Uncle Joe's American Legion Color Guard detachment from Lake Shore Post 137 do the Honors with the flag. The church also showed my short documentary film about my Uncle Joe - American Legion Color Guard Captain - Joe "J.J." O'Brien - to the entire congregation. Uncle Joe is one of the last surviving World War II veteran's of the China - Burma - India Theater in the Jacksonville area. Thank you good people of Whitehouse Baptist Church for honoring and remembering!
