“This was my 2nd visit to this location. I told myself I wouldn't come back after my 1st experience was HORRIBLE. My godson wanted Popeyes and this was the closest location. I'm glad I gave them another chance. You can tell that they are under new management. From the time I pulled up to order, Alyssa was friendly, prompt, and patient. She also convinced me to get the new Mango Lemonade slushy in addition to our meal. My godson and I both loved it! Once I pulled around, Alyssa and the manager Belva assured me that my food would be fresh and it was! My order was correct and hot. Thank you Alyssa and Belva for being kind from the time we pulled up to the drive thru to the time we pulled off. The small time it took you both to be kind made a big impact! We will be back.”

“Mostly, I love everything in this country but some few places I hate to go and one of them is visiting the Dentist. Because of bad experiences in the past by to much bureaucracy in their office. Since then I only visit them for emergency although I always have a good dental insurance and reserved my permanent dental fix somewhere outside US, but this clinic change all of that mind. All is done at once on my first visit except for the plans that requires more time, considering my appointment scheduled late for the day. The Dentist is good, very conversant, pleasant, well skilled, very upgrade dental clinic and very courteous staff, plus leaving the place with few dollars spent. Unlike my past, aside that you are not content and leaving their place like you bought a good use car. Like you were cheated big time. I highly recommend the place for a friend and family, specially people from a third world country like me. You will see your dental visit fit here like where we from. All is taken care off at once with perfect outcome and like what I said, with few dollars.”

“I have 2 kids in the same grade at this school. They have been a student since the first year it has opened! The front office is wonderful! We have a blended family and they are wonderful with all of us! 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teachers have been by far the best teachers I have come across in Duval County. You can truly see the difference from the beginning and end of the year when it comes to what they are being taught and HOW they are being taught! If you are having any troubles reaching the principal I STRONGLY encourage to use her email. She responds pretty fast or within 24 hours. While volunteering at the school I noticed how engaged she is with the students and staff. Even though they know me by face, I am treated like any other parent. I am asked for my car tag to get my children whom they know well and it’s comforting. The Art teachers and music teachers are amazing as well! It is a great school and the only complaint I have ever had was with aftercare. I removed my children from aftercare due to the change of structure. The first year was great. After that, my kids would beg not to go and I saw more frustration with the aftercare instructors than compassion and patience. My kids “weren’t allowed” to do homework in aftercare nor was there a schedule for them. The first year it was organized, homework was completed and the kids were upset if I came early. That’s the only con. The rest exceeds 5 stars!!!! Looking forward to 2018-2019 school year!!!”

My neighbor saved the day and all was well again. The driver was prompt, polite and followed my instructions to the letter. Very happy with my experience, and glad everything worked out. “The place is brand new and packed! The ambiance is fun. We ordered the Conch fritters for starters and they were really good, almost,an entree itself as the portion was generous. They tasted like seafood beignets 😜. I would have liked more conch in them. I had a red house wine 1926 that was outstandingly good. For dinner I had the Shrimp Scampi and my friend the Shrimp and Pork grits. The plating was outstanding in both servings. The Shrimp Scampi had zucchini noodles that were at the perfect point of crunchiness BUT the shrimp were scarce and tasted frozen. I expected more flavor on the sauce. My friend's dinner same thing, looked pretty but lots of grits, and little shrimp with the skins on. Service was very good, restrooms were clean, well supplied and fragrant. Overall it was good but they really need to step up their proteins. When I order seafood I expect freshly caught flavor, especially in a shrimping city like Jacksonville. It is a very good start though. Other plates that I saw running around looked just as good. May go back at some point. 😁”

“We went kayaking with North Beach Adventures. Joey was great. We gave him very little notice, and he got us in the water right away and he was right there to help us out later in the day. The launch is only a 45 minute paddle from Dutton Island Preserve and there's plenty to see along the way. We stopped there for lunch and watched others fish off the lookout before heading back. Great trip. Highly recommend!”

“This gym is great. Exactly what I’m looking for as far as simplicity. Decent selection of weights and machines, but something is always broken. Not sure of the parameters behind getting things fixed but some machines are absolutely vital! I think Fran- the morning front desk attendant- is phenomenal! She stands out above the rest, remembers your name and is just a pleasant person to encounter in the morning. The gym could use a bit more cleaning and I wish it were cheaper for the athletic room with month to month memberships. (I will deduct that star mentally) however there’s cheaper options. overall great gym; Better than the other bailey’s location from what I remember and beats out any LA Fitness for sure”
