Joe's Crab Shack

We got there around 8:30 on a Friday and specifically requested outdoor seating due to some circumstances with our group of 5. We were informed that it would be an hour wait, which was understandable and perfectly fine. They were very busy.

Once seated, the server apologized for the wait and took our order. She was very attentive and did an excellent job. Our food and drinks came out in a very reasonable amount of time.

All of the food was delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

Visited this location on Sept. 3, 2021 and enjoyed the view and service. We ordered a variety of steamed seafood to give it all another try. The portions were good and everything was fresh but it lacked flavor. I ordered everything with Old Bay seasoning and had to ask for a side of it to enhance the flavor. I Would eat here again tho because it’s a great location, good vibe and great service.

We came in from Georgia for an apt and wanted to hit the beach and grab lunch before heading back.

We looked at other places as their reviews were better but decided to try Joe's because it was closer to the beach.

We are surprised the reviews are lower than other seafood places because the gentleman who served us provided AMAZING service! And the food!! It was such an awesome dining experience, its on our list to come back to in the near future.

Hubby and I highly, highly recommend eating here.

The restaurant was short on staff but they let us wait outside at a covered table with a view of the ocean, which was really nice. The waiter who ended up serving us was great, too.

As for the food, I ordered the crab, shrimp dip. It was hot, rich and yummy. I got the fish tacos, too, but they were cold and not so great.. (Since they were short staffed, I didn't have the heart to send them back.)

My mom, however, had the steak and shrimp, surf and turf meal, and it was hot and terrific. It was all in all a positive experience. These folks are working very hard with short staff, and I'm just really grateful they're there.
