“Small but cute. My esthetician was walking barefoot around the spa… I don’t mind it but it was a surprise for me lol. I tried the monthly membership package and it was great! They offered you a drink and then your esthetician will take you to the spa room for some tea and treats before the facial. She cleansed my skin, facial massage, facial enzyme mask, shoulder massage , wrapped my foot with hot towels, arm massage, pore extraction, then massage again. Also, I think the room should be darker for relaxation.”

“I drive past the Brand New Dollar General on Blanding Blvd near 103rd st to go 2 miles to the Wilson Ave store. Blanding location is less than 30 seconds from my house but I have not shopped that location in a couple years. I did walk in the new store to check it out and the store is BIG and nice but the one thing that makes all the other stuff not matter is the staff. The Wilson store Manager is a younger gentleman and he is so kind, he always says hello and he does not act like I am bothering him if I need his help. That goes the same for all of the employees at this store, they are all very nice, The store is well stocked and clean. You can build a big very nice store but if you do not change the employees it doesn't matter. I shop almost daily at the Wilson Ave Dollar Genera& will continue to do so, but I will not spend not $1 at the new Blanding store because the employees there are rude.”

I received a text message and emails that they were ready for pick up. I actually went to pick them up the next day they were ready. The ladies at checkout were very nice. We actually had a nice conversation about the type of books that I purchased. They seemed like avid book readers themselves. They were very genuine. They even suggested some other books that I might like. It was a breath of fresh air to interact with individuals who seem to have the knowledge and "passion" for books. It makes for an even better experience. I'd definitely recommend this BAM.”

“I've been dealing with these guys for over a decade, since they were down on Philips Hwy. Then they moved downtown, presumably to be closer to the professional athletes that also buy equip from them. My understanding is that they buy used INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH exercise equipment from fitness clubs that have closed or replaced their equipment. They refurbish it back to original... Or BETTER condition. I was able to get a super comfortable neoprene type seat to replace the uncomfortable thinly covered metal OEM seat on my bike. Unfortunately, I don't get Super deals on equipment like when they were a fledgling business on Philips Hwy. Now it seems they have a nationwide reputation and they can command a higher price for their hard work, which I suppose they have earned. Their staff does such an amazing job prepping this equipment and they seem to be able find or fabricate parts I can't even find online. They can even do custom upholstery colors, etc Time for another exercise bike as a gift for my girlfriend...there is sometimes a waiting list for certain types of popular equipment. They can only provide what's available for refurbishment. I went by Academy today because it's just a couple blocks away from home. Academy is a joke! They had ONE recumbent bike to choose from. It was cheaply made, it was uncomfortable and they wanted $500??? No way! Discover this amazing source for fitness equipment that could possibly last you a lifetime when bought for personal use at home. My first exercise bike is still going strong after over 15 years!”
