I dropped my phone in the tub, and it somehow managed to dial emergency services and connect before the phone shut off… I tried to call back but couldn’t get through to explain it was a misdial before the cops showed up to my house! It must have been about ten minutes or less. Regardless of how dumb I was to drop my phone, its amazing to think if there was a real emergency this is how quickly enforcement both found my address, and responded. I’m forever sorry for wasting peoples time that day, but it was also weirdly reassuring knowing how fast the response time is. And rest assured, when I get a new phone I won’t be bringing it into the tub anymore 😂😭

I had an incident were I was in the wrong...

Hernando county has some of most patient, understanding and professional sheriff I've come across. They definitely take pride in their jobs and how they carry out themselves when performing their duties to the general public. Shout out to upper chain of command. Younger officers are trained well, and it most very well reflects from good leadership.... Very fortunate to be a citizen of this county and country. God bless America and the officers of Hernando county sheriffs Dept.

10/10 for the Hernando county sheriffs office, and the young officers on the night patrol who performed their duties!

I suffer from some severe mental health issues, especially a horrible traumatic brain injury from when I was in a coma in 1999, and I have had serious problems with social security and getting help with housing and psychiatric assistance down here in Florida. But in every, of several recent interactions with the sheriff's department here in Hernando and Pasco County's, every single officer has been patient, understanding, and gone above and beyond to either help me personally, or did their best to guide me in the right direction for help. Every officer was thorough, professional, respectful, insightful and lived up to the title of public protection and service, so ten stars 🌟, and a lot of sincere appreciation, goes to both Hernando and Pasco County Sheriff's Departments. Thank you again for setting a truly high standard that I hope more agencies start to follow in the future.
