Funky Flamingo River Cottage

The Funky Flamingo is a wonderful and safe place in Weeki Wachee! The house that now we called home is fully equipped and with the most wonderful view and lanai to spend time with family and friends. This home is a most go! We recommend to all 100%.

I can't speak highly enough of this property. I stayed with my boyfriend and our dog, and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Absolutely adorable little cottage with excellent hosts to communicate with. There are so many great amenities to take advantage of, and I've never seen a place more well stocked. Be sure to peek through the cabinets and drawers, you'll be shocked at how much is available to guests there. We made a game of counting every flamingo in the house, and I got to well over 100 - so definitely give it a try. The location can't be beat and there's just more to enjoy than can be listed. Comfortable beds with great pillows are always a plus, and they delivered. You truly don't even have to leave the property. I highly recommend this rental, and we may just come back again in the future.

We have been here twice now. The cottage is amazing, fun, comfortable and very family friendly (and dog friendly). Our family had the best time exploring the river, seeing manatees and swimming in the river. We loved going to see the historic mermaid show and local restaurants. There is so much to do, but don't forget to sit back and relax on the comfortable outdoor patio, in front of the fire pit or on the hammock. The house comes with multiple kayak options (for kiddos too). Don't think twice, you'll love this place!

We had so much fun at Funky Flamingo! It’s so cute and has everything you could want for a fun vacation. Honestly, we could have spent the entire time exploring the canals around the cottage and hanging out on the lanai watching manatees. There is so much to do in the area though! We can’t wait to go back.
