As a man, I was never really convinced of the importance and use of therapy but as it turned out, I was completely wrong! We were engaged with Walt, with respect to my 13-year-old son, who had been targeted and groomed over the internet. This was a horrible time of our lives. To a degree, my son did not understand the seriousness of the situation or decree anything wrong with the actions of the unnamed person, who had impacted his childhood in such a negative way. Walt provided my son and myself with discussion, understanding and importantly, tools we could use at home to effectively unlock my child's thoughts/feelings with the view to changing his understanding (realizing the gravity of the situation). Further to the months we attended therapy, we were able to see a marked improvement in my son. This inevitably led to him returning to the happy child he was before the incident. We can't thank Walt enough. He's a good man, he understands, and is able to appeal to children and have them, as well as their parents, work on things which change/ improve these horrible situations.
