Tampa East RV Resort

We arrived here today and for some reason the computer system didn’t have the updated information for our rig. The assistant manager, Rita, showed us the site we had been assigned. After talking with her we decided it wouldn’t be a good fit for our rig. She reassigned is to a newly refurbished site with a wide and long concrete pad, new 50a post and water spigots. Behind the site are some industrial buildings. No noises or privacy issues though. We are right across from one of the pools. Everyone has been helpful and the place is clean and well kept.

Owned by Sun resorts, so just dealing w employees. Not sure if it's lack of caring or resources but upgrades/ maintenance needed. However most sites good sized for FL, 3 pools, hot tub and activities. New manager, from what we hear property getting better. If you plan to stay a while really ask about site layout, and if you will fit some are oddly laid out. They don't seem to have an ideal reservation system. Not a "fussy" place, OK to wash rig or car, can leave tow dolly on site, two vehicles plus RV allowed. Not meticulously maintained, but then not hearing mowers etc is fine. All ages park, but mostly snow birds during our winter stay. Close to I 4, so road noise. Btw, their definition of a premium site is full hookups, back in, all grass, and a picnic table. Most sites some shade from large trees that drop leaves year round.
