I am a newly hired driver. Everyone was phenomenal and was very confident in my success moving forward. This team is awesome: Tucker, Paul, Bubba, Jennifer and all who make it happen for us. Thanks for everything and your hard work!

I started working for TransAm in February of this year; I graduated around Valentine’s Day. Orientation wasn’t bad at all, I did what I had to do to obtain the know-how they were handing out. After a few days I went right out on the road on my own - I loved every minute of it. I started off as a company driver and was making about $800.00 a week after taxes. After a month I switched to lease owner/operator and was making about $1200.00 a week. Today I returned the truck to the Tampa terminal, I’m going to miss them.

While I was working with them I obtained my very own motor carrier authority so I am the proud owner of a trucking company. Sure, it’s one truck and trailer right now, but it’ll grow soon enough. I say that to say this: we all have to start somewhere - TransAm will give you the opportunity to get your foot inside the door. Use them as a stepping stone to get where you want to be.
